Summary: Review Request: gwyddion https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=187294 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-09-07 20:53 EST ------- OK, there is in fact a breakage scenario, albeit quite different: If a 3rd party writes a plug-in and wants to distribute it (the scenario I'd rather avoid), it now requires the devel subpackage instead of runtime, because the langauage modules are in devel. To guarantee executability of plug-ins, the main package has to require (or contain) all the perl, python, ruby, ..., modules. But even then the perl, python or ruby dependency is redundant. The main package does not use them, it merely provides/requires modules.
