Yes, this a known problem with some earlier g++ 4.x versions. It is triggered when both optimization and debug information are requested (e.g., -O2 -g). Removing -g from the compilation flags should be harmless since it only affects the XSD compiler itself (i.e., there won't be any debug information in the compiler binary).
