Yes, I think splitting up the doc would be a good idea. I just don't see the
value of developer documentation for regular users. It just wastes space. If
you don't want to split it, just don't package it at all. Whoever wants it can
get it from the website. 

Do you want to file a RFE for python-imdb? Considering it is a dependency for
your package, any split there would benefit you as well. Just as a
clarificaiton, I am not running it as root and sorry for the confusion.
