So far I don't know why, but I'm digging into it. This may be connected to Rawhide having the gimp 2.4.0 release candidate and not 2.2.x. One thing though (and sorry for chiming in so late, I've been on vacation): I'd like the package name changed to e.g. "gimp-plugin-resynthesizer" to reflect that it's a plugin and not e.g. a brush, pattern or theme.
