Additionaly the Buildrequires should be BuildRequires: libpfm-devel >= 3.2-0.071017 Regarding the W: pfmon rpm-buildroot-usage %build make PREFIX=/usr DESTDIR=%{buildroot} \ it is because in %build DESTDIR=%{buildroot} shouldnt be useful nor used.
