The issue has been discussed on the libdc1394-devel mailing list and a patch was proposed to remove the problematic piece of code. I'm currently waiting for a reply from the Fedora Board if that is a sufficient solution (freetype1 package is a precedence). If that is the case I will upload the packages with the patch again.
