We can handle this in a more friendly and cooperative way. Karl, the basic question is: would you be willing to maintain this package within Fedora for some time according to http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Development/Schedule/MaintainerResponsibilityPolicy ? Or is there someone else who would take over otherwise? Thanks for the work you have done so far in any case! If the software does work and there are only minor issues I'd say it's ready for inclusion. The crasher in comment #23 needs some investigation if others can reproduce it, but the xdg folder issues can be fixed even after an inclusion I'd say.
