Nice to see comments even in this review thread. Appologise for not moving earlyear to their -devel list, but out of my experience and frustration I would needed some time to spend for dive in deeper in this packages before move to -devel, olso wanted silently to watch next release commitment from their side to decide scons vs autoconf and see libicu insted -liconv, see how cairo is dragged in, and other of my dilema, olso I beheve to be higly sceptic to "receptivnes" due to past hard experience with other folks, so now I am more than happy to see movement like this from e.g Tom side.
