I wondered about that too, but they're consistent in their use of this unusual one-capital-letter name ("E"). There's even precedence for this - "R" is one of the most popular statistical packages, and the Fedora package name is, unsurprisingly, "R". So, since they consistently use the name, there's no guideline against it, and we have precedent, I just went along with the flow.
