It's a pretty common problem on the forums - I would estimate there's a new
thread about this at least once a week.
I think it would be great if we could add a link "Not sure which image to
download?" that would bring the user to a simple page with a few drop-down
menus where we could suggest the appropriate image. We would have to make
some assumptions unless we maintained an extensive list of CPU models, but
at least it would be a start to ask "I own a..." and have the most common
groups in there (Phenom, X2, Athlon 64, Core 2 Duo, Pentium, Celeron, Atom).
