Hello,

I have som Troubles with XEN - Fedora:
I was not able to install Windows XP with Xen 3.0.3 (Fedora Core 6)
successfully. The basic install went smooth but after the first reboot,
only a blank screen was displayed.

cat /etc/xen/xp
# Automatically generated xen config file
name = "xp"
builder = "hvm"
memory = "500"
disk = [
'file:/backup/test/windows/windows.disk,ioemu:hda,w','phy:/dev/cdrom,hdb:cdrom,r'

]
vif = [ 'type=ioemu, mac=00:16:3e:76:8f:a0, bridge=xenbr0', ]
uuid = "ca6964b7-eb56-6c64-287a-9693621a33ea"
device_model = "/usr/lib/xen/bin/qemu-dm"
boot='c'
kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
vnc=1
vncunused=1
apic=1
acpi=1
pae=1
stdvga=0
vcpus=1
serial = "pty" # enable serial console
on_poweroff = 'destroy'
on_reboot = 'restart'
on_crash = 'restart'

I tried the Solution:
The solution is to choose "Standard PC" in the beginning of the Windows
install process so that a generic HAL is installed. This can be done be
pressing F5 when Windows ask to press F6 to install RAID drivers.
But nothing happens, the screen is already black.

Have anyone a idea for my problem???

A Fedora Guest on Xen runs very well.
thanks a lot
