Continuity glitch. Kitty left Eric over the "you never are home, you don't spend enough time with me," complaint, and when I got to a later point, I left Erik saying he'd never been married. Erik was a good guy. But even a duty obsessed good guy is still obsessed. Kitty was a mess. She was a sweet mess, but even a sweet mess is still a mess.
