Hi Dave,

If you try and visit http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/ (please check url before clicking - wow is a much targetted place for scammers) and have a read. There is a free trial you can download and play - and for wow list members, I'm sure they would look into the RAF feature (Recruit a Friend) into wow as this gives some very nice game benefits to both parties.

Of course, the software will either need to be store bought and installed locally or downloaded from site (preferable as you will may not have to patch). Over the years there have been (I think) three "paid" expansions - original, The Burning Crusade and Northrend - but I believe they may be offering old world content in one package now....

And staying on topic and certainly not wanting to intrude - I'm UK based but would love to meet up with any list members in game to have a run round slotting some horde/alliance (*delete where appropriate:) )

Regards,

Drago

List

I have always been interested in WOW, and I have always wanted give it
a try. Could you give me a pointer as to where to begin please. I
believe that, in addition to the core software, there are specific
expansion packs, etc. Do these need to be bought individually, or do
I just purchase the latest and that will include everything I need to
be getting on with?

Many thanks

Dave Williamson
