Which is your first lesson in parenting Jason! :) and was something my Mom told
me when my son was first born...do not stop living (I.e. making normal life
noises) when its time for the baby to go to bed! So at night I used to play
music when it was my son's bed time, now the kid could sleep thru anything,
even a party going on in the next room (and has:) Mom was right of course!

Good luck! :)

Thank you all for the nice replies. Mat, same problem with Emma she was face up
which is why she refused to come out by conventional means, after hours of
pushing the doctors opted for the C-section. Ray I know what you mean, I have a
niece and nephew that live close and I could do without my nephew talking so
much if you want to call it talking. Sean, congratulations on your forthcoming
son! Anyone who mentioned sleep I know what you mean already, she is quite
fussy when the lights are off and everything is quiet but when the bright
lights are on and everyone is awake, visiting, talking, etc she is fast asleep!
Thanks again for all the kind words all :)

Jason M.
