Hi Ray,

I understand the publisher's problem! When I read your books I get so caught up
in them that I am IN your world. If there is a glitch or inconsistency when
reading at my level of submersion, I am usually able to either not notice, or
find a (sometimes complicated) way of justifying and legitimizing any oddities.

The other day I actually wondered if one day I will wake up in a mental
institution, find I have missed thirty years of my life and have people looking
in through the bars saying, 'Look! There's the woman who thinks she lives in
Midkemia! Don't speak too loudly or she might think we're dark elves visiting
her through some kind of rift!"

And by the way, I just have to have the copy that got goofed up before it left
the publisher. I think I will buy it (what fun) and keep it on the shelf, wait
until the corrected copy arrives, buy it, read it, then go back and read the
goofed up. It's just an opportunity I can't miss. :) Nice marketing strategy!

Thanks again for the wealth of pleasure your books give us.
Danielle
