My thought in reply to this was when I started reading the books when I was 10 my father would only let me stat with Talon of a Silver Hawk (too inappropriate? I didn't think so when I disobeyed him and read Magician last year) so really why would revealing the main character (arguably) is not a minor keep boy
be an issue.

Also why would you sub to a mailing list on a series if you had not finished the first book?

reveal that Pug is more then just a minor keep boy and that the
