It's not hard at all. I do it all the time. 

I also stop at red lights at 2am when their are no cars within 5 miles of me. 

That doesn't mean it's not silly. Every time I stop at one of those lights, I 
shake my head and think "damn this is stupid.". Sort of like how I pointed out 
that our slavish dedication to spoiler space for books published a decade or 
more ago is silly. It doesn't mean I am going to stop doing it. It just means I 
think it is silly.
