I don't know about the Kindle, but otherwise, based on what Ray's previously said on the list, you're correct -- the US hardcover won't be corrected, and the paperback isn't out yet. You could go to a UK or Australian bookstore online, order a revised hardcover to have shipped to you, if you really want a revised hardcover (check amazon.co.uk, or dymocks.com.au, as just two examples -- or ask on the list for an Aussie or Brit who's not tied up in traffic to see if they can help you get a copy). Or you can read the US hardcover and just deal with the error when you get to it (that's what I did). Or wait for the paperback. I wouldn't expect this to have some huge value at some point in the future. Since the entire print run had the error, there are a LOT of copies out there -- scarcity helps drive collectivity, and you don't have the scarcity here. The UK version might be slightly more collectible if they're actually destroying the incorrect copies when they replace them -- and it's the true first edition as well, since the US release was a month later, as I recall. I wouldn't put my pension money into it if I were you, though - collecting is a fickle business.
