ha ha. Well that's good, my memory is kinda vague on that.   However i do think 
he has other adventures that would be good to tell and maybe adventures not 
thought of yet. I think i am going to re read the book.   Thanks for the

The backstory to that journey was written into scenes in A Darkness at 
Sethanon, so there’s nothing really to tell. We already know it! 

One of those great characters that gels storylines together...

always trying to improve on all that "ha ha"   but i think you are 
very rite, he does explain a little on the subject but its not so much the 
vague 
explanation as the adventure and all the details involved in his adventure to 
Armengar. Again thank you.

may wish to use proper punctuation (capital letters at the start

sentences, separating your paragraphs, etc).

There are a lot of people on 
the list where English is their second,
even third or fourth 
language.

And as LAR said, telling Ray what to write is a no-no.  
Besides, I
have a vague recollection that Amos explained, albeit briefly, how 
he
ended up where he did.
