There were 2 1/2 video games made that were based on Midkemia (2 made, 1
not released, if memory serves). The game company, Sierra, owned enough
of them to control the writing of the books based on them.
Being a writer first, Ray developed a story line connecting them, and
then never finished writing/publishing the stories when the game market
changed.
"Jimmy and the Crawler" would tie up the loose ends of that story line.
The books referenced were "Krondor - the Assassins" and "Krondor - Tear
of the Gods", again if memory serves, and are the only instance of using
Krondor as a verb.
