That rings a bell - I remember hearing that the Beeb were going to
commercialise it for overseas customers. Wonder where that got to.

It is geo-locked, but apparently it can be easily bypassed as it is
only there to meet some security for particular programs.
Also, I do believe that the episodes are becoming available on iTunes
(in HD format) very shortly after the episode airs in the U.S.. A
Season pass (where you can pay for the whole season) is somewhere
around $15 to $20 U,.S.
