Can't blame the whole episode on a blond moment, so to get on to the story. Ray let the list know that he was doing a UK signing tour, and the Cities that he would be visiting with the stores/shops he would be at, so in my excitement I rushed onto the internet to find out where the Bristol Forbidden Planet was and directions to it. Now I'm still insistent that Forbidden Planet Bristol had it on their website that it would be on February 12th, but they say otherwise, and if I'm a little honest all I can remember seeing is the big 12th did not pay much attention to the month. Now you have to take in mind that it was February that Ray told us of the signing..... hmmm could I get away with sending some of the blame your way Ray? um ah.... no better not I don't want to be upsetting you in that way, even though you are very cruel when you gang up on me with John teasing me about this :( lol :P worth a try to shift some of the blame off me anyway, hmmm maybe John should shoulder some of the blame, I could have sworn that he mentioned something about a date.... oh wait he'll dig through the archives of the list and get out of that one, dam dam dam is there nothing I can do to get out of even a little of this, oh whoa is me :( lol So getting back to the story, in my excitement I saw the 12th and thought ohhh yes gona get my books signed :) so I talked my partner and Nephew into coming with me to the signing, got all my book packed up in to two big bags, and off we went, parked the car just down the road, and walked up to the Forbidden Planet store, I was bubbling by now, we were the first to arrive so I have a grin from ear to ear, my partner and Nephew went off to get hot drinks, and I went in to ask when the signing was going to start, to find out to my horror that I was a Month early, I was dumb struck and knowing that my partner was on her way back with hot drinks, to say I was starting to panic would be and understatement, I knew I was in for it and didn't know how to get out of it.... so I went for the Ray was sick and they have called it off till next month..... seemed to work for all off 30 seconds, knowing what my partner is like, I should have known that she would only go in and ask herself, no matter how pleading I got that it was time to go, and that we'd save money on parking if we went there and then, she was having none of it, she turned to my Nephew gave him the drinks to hold and walked straight in and up to the counter, I didn't know where to hide, I was busted big time, got a slap for that little white lie, and she's never let me live it down, though she did come to the real signing the next month. As to how John and Ray and the list found out, that was part of my punishment for making them go a month early, my Nephew knows that I'm on the list and grassed me up to my partner, whom insisted that I let Ray know how big a fan of his I am.
