I have to second the recommendation for Sanderson. I'm finishing the first
Mistborn book on audio right now (the only "reading" time I have these days
is during exercise, so I've picked up the habit of listening to audio
books). He's also done a fine job picking up where Robert Jordan left off.
In fact, I prefer Sanderson's style to Jordan's, but that's subjective, of
course.
