The Christchurch CBD demolitions are still going and going and going. We just dont see it anymore, passing it every day to work becomes the normal and the humps in the road still make me grin :-)/
I will be flying up to Auckland too, ive already spoken to work and taken LEAVE woohooooooo. Keep the memories of CHCH from 1987 Ray :). I recall Ray did Wellington last time he was here, as I purchased a signed book off him! Can’t even recall which book it was – I have them all anyway! If for some reason you do get to make Christchurch, the CBD demolitions should almost be finished by then, so you may get into what used to be the city centre. If Ray is Auckland only, I’ll fly up for any signing considering this is the last ever book in the Magician series. Maybe other Kiwi Feist Fans would be keen on getting together for a bit and a drink where we can discuss and debate our favourite books, characters, scenes and how the series ended? Well im glad they are using some "human sense" and spreading this one out. Hey it really is fab that your coming to NZ. I hope you get to see some pretty parts while your here. It will be white and wintery so pack thermals :) Will be fantastic to meet you. Best regards Lani I've already been all over NZ. First lecture I ever gave was University of Otago in Dunedin. Looking at this schedule, I probably won't even get down to Welly. Two days means probably only Auckland. As 75% of you live in and around that city, I get it, but it still sucks as I haven't seen Christchurch since 1987.
