You could do what I do, which is switch my registration to amazon.co.uk 
temporarily and get the kindle copy as soon as it's released. A bit of extra 
effort but well worth skipping the wait. Then I usually end up buying the 
hardcover and eventually paperbacks as well when they come out...

Don't know.  We've had some major issues regarding the rights deal for ebooks 
that we're trying to unkink.  The net impact is that the UK half of Harper has 
already released the eBook titles from  Bantam here in the states, i.e. 
Magician, Silverthorn, Faerie Tale, Empire, etc. while the US half is waiting 
until this mess is cleared up.  Likewise, they're not going to release Jimmy 
until the other titles are also ready, is my understanding.  I hope to have 
news soon.
