Nice to hear someone who uses the good food to avoid the nasty medications needed for Diabetes and high BP and Cholesterol. Excellent :-). They are "almost' totally avoidable conditions by healthy eating. I suppose you've researched arthritis to death already? There are interesting studies regarding foods and arthritis (evidence based research that is). Some natural things are helpful there too :).

Chocolate in tiny bits is OK, but I have a sensitivity to it and it can really upset my stomach. Probably why I rarely have a yen for it. I love lots of things I don't eat to keep my weight and blood pressure down, and to insure I don't turn into a diabetic, so not chips, fries, or crisps depending on where you are, very little bread, lots of salads and protein. Thank god wine and sprits don't pack on the weight.
