I believe he was joking about Macros getting all into 'stuff' and mentioning the universe has '10 dimensions' which is how and what we consider OUR reality. Paul Townsend is a noted Physicist at Cambridge and calls that string theory. It was obviously a joke on how ridiculous he considered the book got and that m theory is now the successor of string theory. Quite deep and funny actually.
