The logistical/time-sink overhead OR having to deal with loss of control of the process... nah.

I absolutely recommend you pulp them yourself (because ... you know ... that reduces the amount in the wild, and so incrementally increases the amount my copies are worth).

Harlan Ellison once told me I need to buy every remainder of my books and warehouse them, then when I go to conventions or lectures, have someone sitting in the back of the room selling them. Harlan failed to realize I have never gone out of print. So I might be able to sell a few hardcovers to those who want them (assuming I want to buy 3 or 4 hundred copies and store them), but lugging around even 5 copies of 30 titles? I don't think so.

You only need a hundred of each, signed and numbered by the author, and a special ink stamp to depict Pugs seal. Very limited edition, direct from the author , rare! At least 5 times recommended retail price :)

You may not have done it for the Riftwar books, but King of Ashes, might be a place to start. :)
