Funny Story, I have been a lurker in this list for years.
Recently decided to change my email address. Had to re-subscribe to just a few lists - this being one of them. Didn't see any new messages. Thought something was wrong with how I had subscribed. Went through whole unsubscription. Went to the crydee.com list server instructions page. Followed instructions. Waited a couple of hours. Waited a couple of days. Spent a couple of weeks thinking something must be broke. "She's dead Jim" Finally decided to have another go. Took a look in my old email account at the old list - and eventually noticed the frequency of emails of late. Or rather the lack of frequency. OK. So maybe not that funny... BUT it did strike my funny bone that what finally confirmed for me I had successfully subscribed was a message testing if it was broke... I also started writing this reply right after Russell's 1st message. Then work got in the way. Then checking out a Bee Swarm (bit too hard to catch sadly). Finally got back and there were more messages than in the last 3 months! Having said all that - I do want to express my appreciation for your works Ray. I have spent many many enjoyable hours immersed in the various worlds you have built. (While they are connected - there is certainly enough distinctness in my mind to think of them as multiple worlds) I am looking forward to your next work! regards and in anticipation Kevin On Fri, Oct 9, 2015 at 9:50 PM, Handsome John <[email protected]> wrote: > Well, if you need something to read until then you can always look over > the first draft of my first novel that I just finished... > > You see what the alternatives are, Mr. Feist?
