Good idea to post this to the felix-language list.
You may need to register with the list (it's public
read, subscribers only post to prevent spam).

Looks like we need to add config stuff for IRIX64.
This will be slightly painful, we can make modifications
on your recommendation, put them in CVS, and you can test
and come back with the next problem.

The best way to do this is to register with sourceforge
and become a developer -- anonymous CVS lags some hours
behind the developer CVS, also you can commit changes
to support your platform if you know any changes you've
made are right.

However I can't see anything wrong in what you posted.
It says "Build platform posix" which is all that is needed
and should be correct for IRIX. I'd need to see more of the
configure output.

I've committed a change to CVS which recognizes irix and irix64
as posix platforms, but it won't make any difference, it
detects/assumes posix anyhow.
