Fair enough but .. on LtU you were looking for a language that could integrate seamlessly with C/C++. Well now you've found it. What we need more than anything else is for you to actually start USING it. You only have to get the build/install working for yourself once, if you go away without actually seeing if Felix will do what you originally needed all hope is lost. No matter how much the build annoys you, you should be past that by now. If the build system were perfect and the language crap, you'd just go away saying "Oh, Felix has a nice build system but what gets built is rubbish". Contrast to Haskell which is a dog to build.. it turns people off, me included .. but enough people have got passed that and survive to rave about the *language*. If we get more *users* who put up with the build/install problems long enough to actually start using the system, and who find it is useful and promising etc, we may get enough people sticking around to eventually have the feedback -- and developers -- to make the build system and documentation better. -- John Skaller <skaller at users dot sf dot net> Felix, successor to C++: http://felix.sf.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
