Whew! That's good. Thanks for the bug report!! It's built regularly on Linux, but the machine is on Slicehost (now Rackspace) running Ubuntu 12 something LTS and can't install gcc 4.7 without adding extra paths to the /etc/apt-get/sources file. I'm loathe to fiddle with it since the machine is remote and so hard to maintain if something goes wrong. Actually I would like to use 4.7++ and clang 3.0++ to try out some of the new C++11 features. Felix would be very interested in the unicode strings for example. Also, the design of variants would change radically if the relaxed unions were available (neither gcc nor clang implements that yet. I moved a similar motion prior to the original standard being passed and threatened a veto if it wasn't fixed. It wasn't fixed. Grrr. Well at least the new blood got it done finally. -- john skaller skal...@users.sourceforge.net http://felix-lang.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
