If some people would help by trying to build this:

it would be nice. Built and works out of the box, all nice C code,
no Obj-C crud, on OSX. Will probably work as claimed on Linux
and Windows too. 

Downside: I am guessing here but the downside is that this
software reads low level mouse events on the local machine.
So it will not play well with ncurses based programs running on
a remote machine where the remote software, eg running on
Felix-lang.org connected to a terminal emulator on my Mac
via ssh, will try to read mouse events from the remote machine
instead of my local one.
