You cannot do that on Linux anyhow.  You can't just open a socket
with a low number.  That's why my script uses privbind.
If you use a high number I think it's not publically accessible.
Depends on your ipchains/iptables or whatever firewall.

Furthermore most people running through a router modem
are firewalled off by the modem.

As I said, its not my problem, and it shouldn't be.
Programs that pretend to do security that aren't designed for
it are a source of *insecurity*.
