Melange slept well last night and has been doing fine
today - eating (canned only) and drinking as usual. I
had immediately felt his abdomen when he first
urinated blood and have several times since and
nothing feels abnormal and he doesn't have any
tenderness. He's been playing like he usually does as
well.
I'm going to watch his urine output tonight closely
and plan to take him in for diagnosis first thing in
the morning.
Oh, he eats only Natural Balance food, which has a 25%
magnesium maximum.
Thanks for all the information! Until I have a
diagnosis from his vet I am not going to assume I know
what's causing it but I'll definitely monitor his
output to make sure he's urinating somewhat normally
until morning!
