Okay... I just went out today a bought a PROPER flee comb.
Previously, I bought a cheap plastic one which did not work AT ALL. A hair
trimming comb with gradually smaller tines worked better, but I was only able to
manage a few fleas. The one I picked up today is a Four Paws (r) model
PC179. It has metal tines. I just combed out about 20 fleas from
Loki's fur in a few minutes! I AM IN HEAVEN! This will work. I
have the time to keep at it, and I now know this will work. I know fleas
cause anemia and anemia is my worst enemy since it is what Leeloo died
from. You can imagine my anxiety and stress these past few days... trying
to figure out the right thing to do.
I am
SHOUTING here because I am so happy... I have a solution! And, maybe Loki
knows how happy I am, or was able to feel immediate relief, because we just had
a great play session! It was as if he immediately had great energy
having gotten ride of 20 blood sucking mini
monsters.
If I
had not been able to discover this working solution, I may very well have gone
with a little Advantage to get ride of these nasty creatures. Sometimes a
little well researched toxic treatment can save lives.

When I comb for fleas I usually soak a cottonball in alcohol and poor a little alcohol into a plastic cup. If one is 'too fast' for me I put the cottonball on it and it 'stuns' it for me to pick it up and put it in the cup. It takes maybe a week and you should be able to get them all. That's IF no one's going in and out bringing them in. Do you have a dog?tonya
