Hi I used immunoregulin on a fiv cat. When she became anemic
my vet mentioned epogen.

My holistic vet talked me out of it. Her opinion was that she saw
more harm then good with epogen in cats.
In my case it was highly recommanded not to use since Bamama
immune system was so shot any type of minor side effect that
could happen with any drug such vomitting she had. So I opted as
a last resort with her. I found the immunoregulin helped her at first
but very slow by the time I got the dosage that worked with her her
blood count was so low my regular vet said we should try epogen
and we did. She had a seizure 48 hours later. But you have to
remember that she was on the down side of any type of drug there
is 33% chance of a side effect that will or may occur after 3months
but in her case it was probably a 99% chance so we used it as a
last resort.

There is an anemia group and many cats have done well on
epogen but non are felv/fiv that have used it. But the do have a lot
of info on the website you may want to join to read their archieves.
