angel's gate is the only one that i know of; there are some "retirement homes," tho i don't have their links immediately at hand.
terri's point is very well taken: we ARE the hospices for our FeLVs and other sick ones! at the sanctuary, one ot the things we ran across was WHO/WHAT the cat was: we were great for ferals and strays, because we were a warm place, with constant food, medical care, and, for those who wanted it, human attention. but cats who had been housecats did horribly. they had come to expect a very different level of, um, creature comforts than we could supply. some of that had to do with space and person-power, but even more with our state's Dept of Agriculture regs: we couldn't have anything that wasn't disinfectable--so no comfy armchairs, no bed with real mattresses, no carpeted cat-trees or upholestered cubby-holes. we had lots of washable pillows and beds and mats galore, but for a spoiled housecat, it just wasn't enough. i expect that finding volunteers to help in a hospice setting would be difficult, too--it got to where i stated very clearly in our volunteer write-ups that, in a FeLV sanctuary setting, cats DIE... most of the FeLV came in healthy, and were healthy for varying amounts of time--and volunteers still had trouble with their going to the bridge. imagine in a setting where sooner-rather-than-later demise is a given....
