Hi Anita Yes...I have a 14 year old FeLV+ that was so bad that the rescue people that I got her from didn't know if she would survive the 300 mile trip home..But she was going to be PTS if I didn't take her....She was loaded with fleas and that was the cause of her anemia... All I did was get rid of the fleas (advantage) and plenty of food and water and love... I have had her for a year and a half now and she is still doing well... I guess it depends what is causing it but it is recoverable in some cases... Tad
