I'm so sorry you and Anakin have lost your fight. It's always so so hard to say goodbye to their wonderful physical presence. Like many on the list, I believe he's still with you in spirit, but that doesn't mean much when all you want to do is bury your face in his fur one more time. He seems not to have suffered long before he was taken from you, I hope that is some small comfort to you. When I lost my beloved Siberian Husky, Vixen, she was 11 years old. She looked and acted like a young dog until the last month of her life. She had a Grand Mal seizure one night and within a month she was ready to cross. If I had my choice about how I pass, it would be like Anakin and Vixen, enjoying life until the end, with just enough time to say goodbye to the beings I'm forced to leave behind. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Much love, Nina
