Dear Kyle: Good to hear you are making progress with your vet. It sounds like he/she is a least receptive to new ideas and is willing to learn. I dunno what to suggest about the concurrent use of the VO and Immunogregulin...I don't know enough about what the action either drug is supposed to have on the immune system. If they are supposed to have the same type of action, then it is likely no harm will be done and the treatments are merely redundant. Virbac stated they didn't have or use Immunoregulin there so while they recommended not to use the VO in conjunction with Immunoregulin, they may not really know. I'd want to try and find out more about both drugs to make sure there would not be some harmful interaction. I need to find a text on immunology and learn the terminology so I can read and interpret these tech articles. The term "immunological cascade" is impressive, but just what does that mean? If it means it can start some sort of immunological chain reaction to mount a massive defense that would be welcome. But the question we all want the answer to is can this stuff help repair the damage done to a cat's immune system by the FeLV virus? From what I've read so far, it is not a cure, just another treatment that seems to help some cats in some situations. And of course we are praying that Brissle will be one of those cats it can help. Hang in there!
