Thank you for visiting DontShootTheCat.com. Heres what needs to happen to
stop Question 62.
ANYONE can attend the Conservation Congress Spring Hearings at 7pm on
April 11th and vote on Question 62. This is NOT limited to Wisconsin
residents. Question 62 is an Advisory Question, and the vote is open to anyone
who has an opinion on the issue. Check
http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/nrboard/congress/sh/lo/index.htm for the
meeting closest to where you live (Wisconsin residents should attend the
meeting in their county). Attend the Hearing and vote No on Question 62.
Gather a group of people to attend the Hearings. If youre organizing
something, pick a contact person and have them email us. Well put people in
your area in contact with you.
Contact your local media and make sure that they are carrying this
story. Tell them to visit www.dontshootthecat.com and contact us. This is
making headlines around the country and the more people know about it, the
better chance we have of defeating the proposal. We need to keep people
talking about this until April 11th so interest does not die down.
Send an email to everyone in your address book and tell them to go to
www.dontshootthecat.com. Talk about this in chat rooms, on forums and on your
blog.
Support us financially. Send a donation to:

the Dont Shoot The Cat Campaign will be spent to develop the Wisconsin network
to study the cat overpopulation problem and find humane and effective solutions.

acceptable.
