Michael, wanted to wish you and Stitches good luck today at the cat
specialist. Yes, he will need fluid urgently by now if he's not drinking
and it should help make him comfortable. It is really easy to do what
Hideyo suggests--giving fluids under the skin. (Believe me, if I can do
it, anyone can--and my cats are feral. A vet or a technician will show
you how. My vet showed me how without me even asking. It was a lifesaver
at the time. take care, Kerry

Are you at least giving him sub cud fluid? When my Leo stopped eating
for two weeks (just laying on the floor for two weeks) - the only thing
he received was twice a day fluid from me (75ml each) and which was
critical for his survival (and he did) - you could ask your vet to show
you and do it at home -

It seems stitches condition is continuing to degrade.
he has lost all appetite and and i didn't see him
drinking any water. I have tried a few different dry
foods, to include the treats he loves so much, but to
no avail. his breathing seems to be stable but by no
means is good. i will get him to a cat specialist
tomorrow or the Ohio State Animal Hospital. i just
hope they can help us...i would/need to see him be his
self again. thanks again for all your help, you all
have made things so much easier to cope with.
