Thanks very much, Belinda.  Just in case we haven't sorted out my little guy's 
name, it's Mikey.

He's holding his own.  I have given him two doses of the Clavamox; if I don't 
see improvement today, he goes back to the vet.

Many years ago I had a cat--Goober--who wasn't FELV+, but we adopted him off 
the street and he had frequent medical adventures.  Once he developed 
pancreatitis.  The vet was able to cure him of this, but he was so weak that he 
put Goober on an IV for three days to give him fluids and bring up his 
potassium level.
