Ginger was treated by a dental specialist. To my knowldge she does not have stomatitis, just a bunch of really bad teeth. One of them was so loose the vet was able to wiggle it with her fingers. Michelle

Just make sure the dental included pulling the roots and cleaning out the cavities, otherwise she may still have a problem. I just found out from one of my other lists late yesterday from a girl who's cat had sever stomastitis that it is a good idea to have dentals done by specialists who do dentals only because they know to clean the cavities. I need to ask my vet if this was done. I know the roots were pulled but didn't know about the cavities needing to be cleaned out. Prayers for her to feel much better and start eating soon :) >>
