Sue, I looked up Anitra Frazier's book and diarrhea and vomiting can also be a sign of an impacted hairball. She recommends giving kitty half a teaspoon of plain petroleum jelly. (That's what I use; it's easily available from drugstores.) Really hoping that it's something as simple as that, keep us posted, Kerry
