Tad, I'm so sorry about Sammy. What a shock to lose him so quickly. How old was he? Did the vet tell you there was nothing that could be done to help him? Tell us something about Sammy. What was he like? How did he come to be with you? Please share some of his story with us. You are so quiet about the things you suffer through. We would like to support you with all you go through with all your rescues. Please let us know in the subject line when one of your cats are in trouble, or if you've lost someone. When Baby Kitty died, very few of us on the list were aware of it because you told us about it in response to Steve's email. Not everyone reads every email. Judging by the lack of response to your loss of Sammy, I think the list missed your sad news again. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Much love, Nina Tad Burnett wrote: PS...I have an old girl..vet thinks she is over 12 years old but she has been with me for almost 2 years and she is doing well...I did just loose my old Sammy that I have had for a year and a half...I thought the 2 old timers were past the age where it would get them but Sammy developed a huge tumor in his mouth in just a few hours and I had to let him go to escape the pain that it was causing him..... |
