This was posted to my IBD list this morning. Breaks my heart, anyone out there who could take this baby in, or might be able to help this newbie rescue lady?

I am SO SORRY for the very, very OT nature of this post - but I am
desperate to find help for this girl and of all my lists this one is
by far the most filled with people who so clearly love and care for
their cats!! thanks!

Permission to cross post widely!!

PLEASE HELP! Truly beautiful / regal 5 month old female kitten
shiny all black fur big, big green eyes -  very feisty temperment
in desperate need of calm, loving home with experienced cat owner
this scared little girl needs special handling right now but will
surely thrive in the right environment! Was scheduled to be put to
sleep has been saved but desperately needs a place to go! She is in
Massachusetts near the Rhode Island border and can be transported
(within reason) to a perfect home anywhere in the New England area.

Here is her/ our story apologize in advance for the length!!

This great little kitten was found (by me) at an area shopping
center. She was in the woods adjacent to the parking lot meowing
through a fence to try to get the attention of shoppers I happened
to see/ hear her. I found an opening in the fence hiked through the
woods and when she saw me approach she ran right over meowing the
whole way! Nearest homes are a good 5 miles and this was clearly a
kitten so I assumed she had been dumped. She was skinny but
appeared in good health. Called DH to bring the carrier and food
over continued to interact with the kitten who played, rubbed,
purred, etc. Got kitten into the carrier and into my car and then
called the town ACO. The shelter in the town has an excellent
reputation so saw no reason not to have her go there figuring
beautiful, friendly kitten would be quickly adopted,

Chapter 2 called for update 2 days later was told kitten was very
aggressive had attacked one of the staff and would be deemed un-
adoptable after 10 day holding period and PTS. Just could not let
this happen knowing how friendly this kitten had been just 2 days
before. This was clearly a kitten who was terrified and acting out
not an inherently mean cat! Long story short have arranged to take
the kitten back this Wednesday, June 8th but SHE HAS NO WHERE TO
GO!! I cannot bring her home since I have 2 very aggressive male cats
already and this would be a bad combination. I do have some very
temporary housing arrangements worked out for but what this girl
DESPERATELY NEEDS IS A HOME!!

I have visited her and she is not aggressive she is scared
confused and traumatized. She was dumped in the woods by owners who
did not care (so imagine how well she lived before that) then taken
to a crowded shelter filled to the brim with barking dogs and other
cats put in a small cage in the midst of this chaos, etc. etc. etc.

I am hoping that someone out there who has a very special love for
kitties that need extra TLC will see this and respond. I know this
sounds crazy but when you look into her magnificent, big green eyes
you can really see that all she wants is someone to understand.

Again, she is healthy, FeLV, FIV negative all vaccinations will
be spayed Tuesday 6/7 wormed etc. She is 5 months (or maybe even
less) solid black (with 3-4 stray white hairs on her chest for
luck!) big beautiful green eyes very sleek, regal appearance. I
can work with you to get her to anywhere in the Southern New England
area. If you are interested or know of anyone who may be interested
please contact me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] !

Please share this with any lists or individuals who may be just the
perfect human for this special girl.

Thanks so much for your help!!

Cindy
