Oh man Michelle, how upsetting for you guys! From what you describe, it does sound like some sort of seizure. I would definitely check out the flea drops you put on him. I'm not familiar with that brand, but that stuff is poison and can be very dangerous, especially for someone in a weakened condition. Do tell your vet about it, she'd know if it could have had some sort of interaction with the other meds you have him on. I'm one of the people on the list that has used the Interferon Omega, and I've never seen any side effects with it. When I've used it, and it had good results, I saw them within 3 or 4 days. I'm very concerned for you and Bramble. His symptoms of not moving much, sensitive skin, ("uncomfy at times about being stroked"), along with the loss of muscle mass are very scary. On the other hand, he did eat, that's a good sign. Your line about his being "mentally disengaged" caught my attention too. He may just be exhausted, but I always worry when they do that 'far away, looking at nothing, don't seem to be in their body' sort of thing. Let us know what your vet has to say about his tests.

I can hear how much you care about Bramble, and how much you want to 'do the right thing' by him. Keep looking in his eyes and asking him what he wants, hopefully you'll get your answer.

I'm praying for strength, insight and speedy recovery for you guys,
Nina
