Kristi,    I think it is the dex making him hungry, not the torbutrol. While torbutrol helps with pain, I really do not think it increases appetite. I could be wrong. But that is a classic sign of dex doing something. I would definitely do another dex shot on the schedule recommended by your vet, and do a depo shot if you haven't yet. I am glad he is more comfortable, whatever time he has left. Michelle
